Hummingbird Commission
Early in 2019, I was asked to create a original painting of a Hummingbird for a very special wedding anniversary.
The loving husband wanted to immortalise his wife favourite bird in a artwork for their home - particularly in a room that is used by all the family.
I started off sketching my design on paper and after approval went to work on the painting. The colour choices were all from the wife's favourites - pinks and teal/aqua plus a huge range of greens, oranges, golds, yellows, purple, red... the list is endless. This was a lot of fun to create and I have a bin full of empty paint tubes as a result. And, I am happy to say, the wife LOVE IT! Yay!
